Just to recap: Mr. Eddie Hopkins wants to ratify the current situation at JEDCO by reinstating the board members and their term. It sounds like the illegal board members got to “draw” for their new term lengths. JEDCO should publish the list showing what term each board member drew. Although Mayor Anderson Land seemed surprised at the hiring of outside legal counsel, Angel McCroskey pointed out, it doesn’t make sense to ratify anything with the JEDCO board until Ross Fischer, hired by the people, finishes his job. Until then, it feels like they are trying to sweep this under the rug.

Voting segment of the exchange in the comments. I was surprised that Lequin Hilderbrand opposed the vote on this. Maybe he was just trying to toss the Mayor a bone.
