Why should the citizens have to continue to request information that should be made public from day one! I've been wondering why the city isn't making the list of applicants for the Chief of Police position public. It seems crucial for transparency and trust that such important roles, and those applying for them, should be known to the public.

Why should this information be kept secret? It's our right to know who is vying for such a significant position in our community, especially one that impacts our safety and security.
